Shunry is operated by [full legal name — to be filled in], a sole proprietor in India, at [postal address — to be filled in]. In these terms, “Shunry”, “we” and “us” mean that person, and “you” means whoever creates an account.

By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy. You must be at least 18 years old. If you use Shunry for a company, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for it, and “you” includes that company.

Shunry is a writing studio for X. You connect an X account you run; Shunry reads your own recent posts, counts how you write, and describes it in a style guide you can correct. It then drafts posts and threads in that voice, from an idea, a link or text you give it, or on a schedule you set. You can also write posts yourself. When you approve a post, Shunry publishes it to X immediately or at the time you choose.

Shunry is independent. It is not made, endorsed or sponsored by X Corp., and it works only for as long as X makes its API available on terms that allow it.

You can sign up with an email address and password or with Google. Keep your sign-in details to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account, and you should tell us straight away at [email protected] if you think someone else has used it.

An account is for one person. Give us accurate details and keep them current.

You connect an X account by signing in to X and granting Shunry access. X asks you to approve these permissions, and Shunry uses each only for what is listed:

• Read your posts and profile — to import your recent posts, build your style guide and show your analytics.
• Write posts — to publish the posts and threads you approve, and nothing else.
• Upload media — requested now so you are not asked again when images arrive; no media is uploaded today.
• Stay connected — so a post scheduled for tomorrow can still go out while you are signed out.

Shunry does not ask for access to your direct messages, and it does not like, follow, reply to or repost anything.

Connect only accounts that are yours or that you are authorised to operate. Your use of X is also governed by X’s own terms and rules, which you remain bound by. You can disconnect an account in Shunry at any time, which also revokes our access at X; you can revoke it from X’s settings as well.

Writing or generating a post never publishes it. A post is published only after you approve it, and approving is a separate step from writing.

A scheduled post publishes at the time you set, as long as it is still approved and your X account is still connected. Post now publishes straight away and asks you to confirm first.

You are responsible for every post you approve, including a draft Shunry wrote. Approving it is you deciding to publish it under your name.

We try hard to publish on time, but X can reject, delay or rate-limit a post, and a thread can fail part of the way through. If that happens Shunry tells you exactly which parts are already public. We do not guarantee that any post will be published, or published at a particular moment.

Drafts, style guides and bios are produced by a large language model provided by Anthropic, using your imported posts and what you tell Shunry about yourself. Output can be inaccurate, repetitive, or unlike you, and it can state things that are not true.

Workersdraft posts on a schedule you set and leave them for you to review. A worker cannot approve or publish anything. When you ask a worker to write in the style of another X account, Shunry reads that account’s public posts to do it; do not use that to pass off someone else’s work or identity as your own.

You own what you bring to Shunry — your posts, your Context, your prompts — and, as between you and us, you own the drafts it produces for you. We claim no ownership of any of it.

You give us permission to store, process and transmit that content only as needed to run Shunry for you: to show it to you, to send it to our AI provider to write drafts, and to publish it to X when you approve it. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except for anything already published to X, which stays on X until you remove it there.

Other people using the same model may receive similar text. We do not promise that a draft is unique.

Do not use Shunry to:

• break X's rules, including its rules on automation, spam and platform manipulation;
• post the same or substantially similar content across several accounts, or run accounts you are not authorised to operate;
• impersonate a person or organisation, or mislead people about who is posting;
• publish content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit involving minors, or that infringes someone else's rights;
• spread material you know or suspect to be false in a way likely to cause harm, including about elections or public health;
• try to get around a plan limit, another user's access, or our security, or to copy, scrape or reverse-engineer the service;
• overload the service or X through it, or resell access to Shunry without our written agreement.

Shunry has a free plan and paid plans, with prices on the pricing page. There is no free trial of a paid plan: buying one charges you immediately.

Payments are handled by Dodo Payments, which acts as merchant of record and may add tax where the law requires it. Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, and renew automatically until you cancel.

We may change prices. A change never applies to a period you have already paid for, and we will tell you at least 14 days before it applies to your next renewal.

The pricing page describes what each plan is designed for: how many X accounts, how many drafts and published posts, and which features. Those allowances are not metered today.

Until they are, use Shunry at a level that fits the plan you are on. Publishing and reading through X costs us per request, so if an account’s use is far beyond its plan we may contact you, ask you to move to a larger plan, or limit that use.

When allowances start being enforced, we will tell you at least 14 days beforehand, as clause 18 describes.

You can cancel a paid plan at any time from the billing portal. You keep what you paid for until the end of the current period, and your account then moves to the free plan rather than being closed. Refunds are covered by the refund policy, which is part of these terms.

Disconnecting an X account

Disconnecting revokes Shunry’s access at X and deletes that account’s connection, its imported posts, its style guide and Context, and its workers. Drafts you wrote for it are kept in your account, no longer attached to it.

Deleting your Shunry account

You can delete your account from the account screen. Deletion can be undone for 30 days: your data is kept and you are signed out, and signing back in within that window offers to restore it. After 30 days the account and its data are permanently deleted, as the privacy policy describes.

Posts already published to X are yours on X. Deleting them from Shunry does not delete them from X; do that on X.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks clause 8 or the law, or that puts the service or its X access at risk — immediately where the breach is serious, and otherwise after telling you what is wrong and giving you a fair chance to fix it. If we close a paid account for a reason that is not your fault, we refund the unused part of the period.

Shunry is offered as it is, without a guaranteed uptime figure. It depends on X and on our AI provider, and when either is unavailable or changes its terms, parts of Shunry may stop working, sometimes without notice.

Features change. We add, change and retire them, and adjust what a plan includes. Where a change materially reduces what you already pay for, clause 18 applies.

Shunry is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise that drafts will be accurate or effective, that posts will reach any audience or achieve any result, or that X will keep your account or any post available.

To the extent the law allows, neither of us is liable to the other for indirect or consequential loss — lost profit, lost audience, lost revenue, a suspended X account, or the cost of substitute software.

Our total liability arising out of or in connection with these terms is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or US$50.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud, and nothing affects the rights the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 gives you as a consumer in India.

If someone brings a claim against us because of a post you approved or content you gave Shunry — a person you wrote about, a rights holder, X, or a regulator — you agree to cover the cost of defending it, provided we tell you about it promptly and let you take part in the defence.

These terms take effect on 15 September 2026. We will update them as the product changes, and the date at the top of this page always says which version you are reading.

For a material change — one that reduces what you get, raises what you pay, or narrows your rights — we will give you at least 14 days’ notice by email or in the app before it applies to you, and cancelling within that window is always an answer. Continuing to use Shunry after a change takes effect means you accept it.

This agreement is governed by the laws of India, and the courts at [city — to be filled in] have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from it.

Before that, though, write to us. Almost everything that reaches a lawyer could have been settled by an email to [email protected], and we would rather have the email.
