Worth knowing before you choose.
Is there a trial?
No. Free is a standing plan with no clock on it and no card to enter, and it is where every account starts. Buying a plan charges straight away; there is no trial period between choosing one and the first charge.
What can I do on Free?
Connect one X handle, import its recent posts, and read the style guide Shunry writes from them. Fill in the Context for that handle and have drafts written in your voice. Scheduling and publishing belong to the paid plans. The free route out, which would open X with your post already written, is not built yet.
Are these allowances enforced?
Not yet. The table shows what each plan is designed around, and the software does not meter any of it today. The prices are real; the limits are a plan. This page will say when that changes.
Why do posts with links have their own allowance?
Because X charges about thirteen times as much to publish a post that contains a link as one that does not. Folding the two into one number would mean overcharging everyone who posts plain text to cover everyone who does not.
Will Shunry ever post without me?
No, on any plan. Approving is its own step, never the same press as writing or generating. The exact words are sealed when you approve and checked again at send time, and anything that changed comes back to you. A worker drafts; it cannot approve or publish.
Do I need my own X developer account?
No. You connect a handle by signing in to X and granting access. Shunry's own X app makes the calls, and pays X for them.
Can I run clients' accounts on Studio?
No. Shunry is for handles you run yourself: a founder account and a product account, or a few projects of your own. It never posts one thing across several accounts, which X's automation rules do not allow.
What does annual save?
About a fifth. Starter is $180 a year instead of $228, Pro is $468 instead of $588, and Studio is $1,188 instead of $1,548. It is charged once, for twelve months.
What will never be on any plan?
Auto-replies, likes, follows, DMs, or any other engagement automation. It is not waiting for a higher tier. It is not being built.
Who handles payment?
Dodo Payments. Checkout and the customer portal are their hosted pages, so card details never reach Shunry.
